Are your project teams listless, reactive and opaque? Are the team members unengaged, lacking initiative and unable to solve problems on their own? Do you feel like your project teams could be doing more, but are unsure how to motivate them?
In this one-and-a-half-day workshop, you will participate in a fun, fast-moving simulation that will echo everyday challenges faced by project teams everywhere. How you overcome these challenges, will form the basis of our deep dive into understanding how to build and nurture high-performing teams.
The learning objectives for this course are:
- List five characteristics of high-performing teams.
- Describe the conditions that encourage high-performing teams to form.
- Recognize the patterns in your own behavior that hold back your teams from improved performance.
- Practice improving your skills in leadership, team building, motivation, communication, decision making and negotiation.
This a sample of some lessons past participants took away from this class:
“How very important trust is to building high-performing teams.”
“Maintain the big picture to maximize individual contributions.”
“Trust others on the team, they have [our] best interest in mind.”
