Though each Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course varies depending on the instructor, all CSPO courses focus on Scrum from a product owner’s perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO courses are taught by Trainers approved by the Scrum Alliance.
Relax…You’re in Good Hands
So glad you found us. Now, let me tell you what this class is NOT going to be like:
- It’s not going to be two-days of PowerPoint slides.
- It’s not going to be two-days of listening to your instructor talk (down) at you.
- It’s not going to be two-days of dry theory with no practical application.
Professionals don’t learn that way and it’s not worth your time and money for that experience.
Instead, we’ve created a two-day, hands-on workshop where you’ll have the opportunity to both learn and apply the important skills every Product Owner needs to know.
Using Zoom and Miro, we have created an engaging, inclusive and respectful online environment that will allow you to try out new ideas, concepts and frameworks BEFORE you bring them back to work.
In your course, expect multiple breakout groups where you’ll learn how Scrum is applied in different organizations and how the role of a Product Owner has been adopted in those organizations. Use these conversations to inspire yourself to find those small adjustments you can make that will have a big impact on your performance.
You might not know this, but most other Certified Scrum Trainers don’t have a background in product management; Carlton does. This means he can empathize with the challenges you’re experiencing, offer helpful ideas on how to overcome them or ask the right questions so you can resolve them on your own. You’ll find Carlton to be approachable and extremely knowledgeable about Scrum, product management and its application to different environments.
Finally, former students say our method of delivery is crystal clear, easy to absorb, action-oriented and fun. Don’t believe us? Ask our VP of Fun, Bruno.

After you compare our course to all the others, you’ll see that we offer excellent value for the time and money you’re going to invest with us.
Format
This course spans two days, but don’t worry…we’re going to have lots of breaks. Plan for a break every hour or so. Breaks will last anywhere from five to fifteen minutes plus we’ll have a one-hour break for lunch each day.
Here’s a glimpse of what one of our courses looks like.
Here’s an added bonus – while working in breakout groups, you’ll get to hear how Product Owners from different companies, industries and countries work to provide value, deliver quality solutions and increase profits.
